This is the website of Kya Medwin, referred to here as ‘we’ or ‘us’. It was built by Bookswarm and is hosted by Kinsta Inc. who are based in West Hollywood, California, USA. Kinsta’s infrastructure is powered by Google Cloud Platform.
Domain and email hosting are provided by Ionos.

Data Collected and Purpose
Kinsta Inc. collect technical operational data, such as IP addresses and browser data. The purpose of this is for website function and security.
If you sign up to the readers club, your email address is collected and retained until you request its deletion or we delete it. This is so that free downloads and newsletters can be delivered to your email address. If you use the contact form your name, email address and details of your message are retained so that the form can fulfil its purpose.
Data is also collected by third party integrations.

MailerLite retains emails to make newsletter delivery possible.

Data Retention
Data is only retained for as long as necessary. If you sign up to the readers club your email will be retained until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email.
If you contact us using the contact form your name, email address and message details will be retained until the issue you raise has been resolved. On occasion if required by law, data may be retained for longer. Users can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us via the contact form, whereupon it will be deleted securely.
Data Sharing
Your data is stored securely and will never be shared or sold. It may be shared with legal bodies if required to combat criminal activity.
